Gift Certificate Terms

 

 

All travel arrangements using a Tramex gift certificate, must be made with Tramex Travel at least 21 days in advance of travel.

Travel arrangements that exceed the cost of the gift certificate must be paid for with the traveler’s personal credit card or check.

The original gift certificate must be sent/brought to Tramex Travel within 24 hours of the arrangements being made.

Unused portions of Gift Certificate have no cash value and are nonrefundable. Tramex will, however, hold any residual value on account for future use within the original expiration period.

Gift certificates are valid for 1 year from the date of issue unless otherwise noted, and can be extended for an additional six (6) months with a request from the recipient. Extension fees may apply.

If a trip using a gift certificate is cancelled, the monies will be returned to the held account to be redeemed at a later date, less any cancellation penalties.

Tramex Travel reserves the right to alter or update these conditions at its sole discretion without written or verbal notice.

Certificate is not valid without a gift certificate number and authorized signature on the face.

Tramex Travel is pleased to accept PayPal for purchases over the internet and phone. Due to credit card company restrictions we are not able to accept credit cards over the counter.

Credit card companies charge a fee to businesses or governments who accept their cards. The fee is a percentage of the amount charged. Thus, accepting credit cards is an additional expense. To offset the cost of credit card usage, Texas Law specifically provides for a convenience fee to be added to those transactions. A convenience fee will be added to amount of your purchase when made online or over the telephone. All convenience fees are paid to the company that processes the credit card transactions.

You will find that our current convenience fee of 5% is one of the lowest used and we're hopeful that competition will eventually lower the fee and allow us to take all credit cards in the future. As always, we appreciate your business and look forward to serving you.
